Risk Management

This is the first step, which focuses on managing all of your underlying risks. This is the stage when most people get married, buy their first home, have children, and finish their education.

You are now employed, earning an income, and most likely accumulating debt. You’re feeling overwhelmed by all of your choices, and your bills are piling up.

You’re probably comfortably covering your monthly expenses at this time, your risks are well covered, and you’ve become accustomed to your bond payment. As your salary grows, you’ll have more and more disposable income to invest.

You’ve completed the Risk Management and Accumulation phase successfully. You have avoided falling into a debt trap and have accumulated sufficient capital and assets to retire comfortably.
